Ethiopian Women Researchers Association
WOMEN IN RESEARCH & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Ethiopian Women Researchers Association brings together women researchers, academics, and professionals to connect, collaborate, and grow within the research community. The network supports members through:

By creating stronger connections among Ethiopian women researchers, the association helps expand opportunities, strengthen research capacity, and increase women's participation and leadership in research.
EMMA
MIDWIFE–ADOLESCENT CONNECTION PROGRAM
EMMA creates a safe and supportive space where adolescent girls can connect directly with trusted midwives for guidance, learning, and open conversation about their health and wellbeing. Through EMMA, girls can access:
- Menstrual and reproductive health guidance
- Puberty and body awareness education
- Contraceptive and sexual health information
- Pregnancy prevention and care guidance
- Mental and emotional wellbeing support
- Safe referrals to appropriate health services
EMMA brings midwives and adolescent girls closer together, helping girls ask questions confidently, receive reliable information, and access the right support when they need it.
